Born in Guatemala, he moved to the United States at a young age, commencing a remarkable journey that encompassed military service, a successful professional career, and dedicated activism.

As a proud Marine veteran, Byron’s sense of duty and service to his country shaped his character, instilling in him an unwavering determination to help and a desire to contribute to a better society upon his return to civilian life.

His prior roles as a loan officer and home inspector equipped Byron with in-depth knowledge of the housing market’s intricacies. His diverse real estate background offered a unique perspective on business and community development.

Motivated by a profound concern for the environment, Byron founded Planet A Challenge, an environmental organization dedicated to promoting sustainable practices and raising awareness about critical ecological issues.

In addition to his environmental advocacy, Byron has held pivotal roles in various capacities. His tenure as the former coalitions’ director for a national Hispanic advocacy organization showcased his dedication to empowering and amplifying community voices. Presently serving as an ambassador for the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, he actively fosters relationships, economic growth, and opportunities within the Hispanic community.
